7. Well, that's pretty much my thinking.
Plus DeWine has a shitty environmental record anyway. Sherrod's voting record on the environment from the House is close to perfect.

DeWine to co-teach political science course
Michelle Scaglione
Issue date: 1/12/07 Section: Campus
PrintEmail Article Tools Page 1 of 2 next > After hearing the news that former U.S. Sen. Mike DeWine will be teaching at Miami University this spring, most faculty and students are excited about the opportunity to learn from the veteran politician.

"(Having DeWine at Miami) is something that Miami could benefit from, no matter what party you're from," said Kati Lake, a senior political science major.

Junior Andrew Pytlik, a political science minor, sees it as "about time" that Miami have instructors of such caliber come in to teach.

"If Miami is going to go around saying that it is of Harvard quality, then we need to get people that would teach at Harvard," Pytlik said.

DeWine, who represented Ohio from 1995-2007, will share his political expertise with Miami University students when he teaches a sprint class at Miami later this spring semester.

After losing his bid for reelection in November, DeWine began exploring his other employment options and Jan. 9 Miami, his alma mater, announced that DeWine will co-teach the course Inside American Politics with Ryan Barilleaux, chair of the political science department.

"I think it's awesome (to have DeWine coming) because he is a political moderate," Lake said. "He votes on the issues, not necessarily with his party."

11. I would like to hear Dewine discuss the "gang of 14" "compromise"
that allowed two RW judges to get onto the supreme court. Oops. I think I gave away my opinion. I am serious, I would like to hear what he says now that he does not have to play to RW goons in the electorate and in the dittohead press.
