I was at Sherrod Browns Swearing in Ceremony on Saturday
He came to Columbus to do a swearing in ceremony and invited all of his county coordinators and other volunteers to the festivities. It was really aw inspiring to see Mayor Coleman, our new Att. General Marc Dann, Tres. Rich Cordrey and Jennifer Brunner as our new Sec. of State. Plus Congresswoman Tubbs-Jones was there as the master of ceremonies and really fired up the crowd. As each one spoke I grew more and more excited to hear Sherrod speak and by the time he got up to talk the whole place went crazy. Listening to him speak I came to REALLY understand the man and how much he really does care for the working people. At one point I almost cried I was so moved by is speech. I am so thankful for having a true progressive representing Ohio's working families and values in Washington D.C.!

I look forward to big things from Sherrod Brown over the next 6 years!

2. And as Sherrod said on Election Night.....
as Ohio goes in '06, the nation goes in '08.

Wish I could have been there. Thanks for telling us about it.

3. Book
I'm reading his book now, "Myths of Free Trade". Good stuff. I discovered how the WTO is able to get countries to change their environmental laws, in order to comply international trade laws. Maybe I'm naive, but that's bullshit.

I did not get to that part yet, but it's definitely enlightening and a good read.
