Just watching the snow, feeling secure and loved
When I look out the window I can see snow piled high on our overgrown Hinoki pine. Somewhere under that snow, I'm sure there are birds nestled in.
I can hear them chirping. The bird feeders are all filled. The pond is running. I know the animals that have to be outside have food and water.

I've cleared the walk twice already today. Experience tells me it's easier to shovel several times when the snow can be pushed aside rather than wait until
I have to lift shovels full of heavy wet snow. Little kids should be out making snowmen today. I hope their parents let them.

There is lots of fresh fruit on the counter. The pantry and fridge are full. The taxes are done. I don't have to drive anywhere. I have a husband to
keep me company, a puppy to hold and pet and hearts at the bottom of my posts. Thank you, secret admirers, for them.

I hope that each of you can share the feelings that I have today. Life is good in Ohio. I can't afford any more hearts, so here is the next best thing.

2. If there's a level three tonight, we'll be stuck at work.
But we're prepared for it and have a fold out futon in the back.

Either way, we're hare until at least midnight.

Daisyy found me a guy and a plow today -- best Valentines present I ever got! I thought I'd be shoveling the whole parking lot.

4. What's happening now in Muskingum Co?
We are in a snow lull up here. It looks like we are about a third of the way through the storm. Hope you have a snow day, Joanne98. Hope you get home safely, Mongo.

14. ICE - - - YAAARRRGGG
Edited on Tue Feb-13-07 08:39 PM by mtnester
I would rather have two feet of snow than the 2 inches of ice we have right now...and it is STILL raining.

I am running out of salt on a sidewalk that inclines 45 degrees down to the garage. I have already fallen once today, and hefting shovels full of ice laden snow was a bad idea.
MAKE IT STOP!

It is going to be HELL in the morning.
