I don't believe I'm rooting for the Buckeyes. (That's how low my opinion of Florida has gone.)

Between the election debacle in 200, Katharine Harris, Jeb Bush, and the appalling stories about child welfare services ... I'm a reluctant Michigander (Californian at heart) going against my childhood training and cheering for the Buckeyes. What has the world come to?

2. Ohio isn't much better.
I don't want either team to win. Is that even possible?

Maybe the Diebold scoreboard will malfunction or something. :P

4. The two states that cost the Dems the presidency
as well as the Supreme Court of course, and besides that, it appears that both schools are spending way too much money on athletics. I mean football and basketball championships within four months of each other? Hmm... One reason I like pro sports better than college anymore. At least in the pros their stated purpose is to win championships with or without scruples and education.

5. A Big Blue rooting for OSU??????!!!!!!!
Perhaps hell has frozen over! But , fear not for I'm a PSU viewing OSU as the cinderella team. My dislike of Fla. teams is great also.

10. I dont think I would use that reason to root against OH state but they
shouldn't even be in this game. They made it this far with the help of the officials..had the proper calls been made Ohio State would have been out of the tournament 2 rounds ago......
But this is the title game the NCAA and CBS wanted......

Anything to do with Florida DOES NOT WORK FOR ME. I realize that my reasoning is totally irrational. I just can't help myself. It is what it is.

22. Well, I'm Rooting For Rutgers
After all, if Tennessee had gone for Gore in 2000, none of the crap in Florida would have mattered. A presidential candidate should be able to count on his native state. Thanks, Tennessee.

Oh, and last year they couldn't send Harold Ford to Senate? They had to buy into the racism and vote for the Republican.

(just playing off of some of the logic I see here for wanting Florida to lose)

I'm forbidden to root for either of these teams . . .

Edit to add: and how boring to have the same two teams that played for the football championship!

refused to give Jeb an honorary degree.

20. I'm rooting for the Gators.
I was impressed how the entire starting five returned to defend their crown. You don't see that much nowadays. That's why I hope they win.
