An open letter to John Boccieri

Dear Senator Boccieri,

I am very disappointed to learn that you are running for United States congress after having served barely a tenth of your senate term in the Ohio senate. The constituents of the 33rd district did not elect you to be an absentee senator.

If serving in the United States congress is your calling, then you ought not to have run for the 33rd senate district.

As you know, we democrats are in the minority in the state senate. Ohioans desperately need senators like yourself to represent us against big corporate interests.

Did you know that a person's credit score, not payment history, is currently being used as a basis for determining auto insurance rates in Ohio ? I personally am not aware of a correlation between a low credit score and reckless driving or their morality.

As a ranking democratic senator and a member of the senate - Insurance, Commerce & Labor - committee, you could investigate, and perhaps stop, this abhorrent practice.

Please fulfill your campaign pledge to your constituents by serving your entire term and bringing about a positive change for all Ohioans.
