Ethics panel says Armbruster broke law

A state ethics committee Wednesday said former State Sen. Jeffry Armbruster violated Ohio law by using his influence as a senator to get worker's compensation insurance rates lowered for a gas station he owned.

1. That is so stupid....

His rates would be under $500 annually unless, he has a few death claims in the history; which would raise his premium....He could not have that many employees to make the rate high enough to even care...:wtf: :shrug:

I still have not forgiven JA for the nasty campaign he waged against Ron Nabakowski for the senate job. He painted Ron, one of the most honest people you could ever meet, as "unethical," just for being a great Lottery Director, just because it was the lottery. It was the nastiest campaign I have ever witnessed. Armbruster acts mean and threatening and presumptious and arrogant towards people, so this is what he gets. He's pushed the envelope plenty of times; now he's been caught.

4. EXCELLENT!!! I met with this guy during a Commoncause Lobby Day on Election Reform

in 2005 and discussed disenfrachisement of Af Am voters (agongst other ER topics) and he said the real fraud was put forward by the Democrats who pulled drunks out of bars on election day to vote and if I was really interested in election Reform, I would be pushing for breath analyzers for drunks because that was where the real fraud was!
