He's a far cry from our corporate candidate slate, and is needed badly to protect our state from Mike Turner, who never met a defense contractor he didn't love.

i tried to PM you, but the system won't let me.

I have been writing pretty negatively on this site lately, so it might seem odd when i say this, but i think as a new guy, coming in, Esrati should focus more on what he will do and how rather than starting out with all the negative attacks.

As far as congressional pay raises, it's way down on my list of concerns. Despite some of the arrogance that comes with power, U.S. Reps are "on' 24/7, they have enormous costs of having to establish two places to live, they travel back and forth constantly, and they have to run for office every two years. It's grueling.

3. He has more depth as a candidate than any of the others

His site is literally packed full of his positions - which are quite progressive.

He's quite a character who's certainly not afraid of a fight.

Also, he kicked Mike Turner's ass in court not once, but FIVE TIMES over a freedom of speech issue.

5. I have to agree.

I'll go back and read things in more depth, but my tolerance for mudslinging is kind of low this a.m. I will have next to zero tolerance for such tactics this year, anyway.

As I said, I will give things a closer look. But starting out by slamming Mitakides because her Web site is not up, as well as rehashing the pissing match he had with Turner...that tells me little or nothing about his platform.

6. Take one hour, or even a half hour

to go over the MANY, MANY issues he has addressed on his site.

He makes the rest seem like non-communicative mutes.
