Dayton area foreclosures up 145%

<<RealtyTrac, a mortgage research company, reported that foreclosures in the Dayton area climbed 145 percent last year. The number of properties foreclosed on reached 7,800 last year, versus 3,180 in 2006, the California company reported.

The tallies include foreclosures in Montgomery, Miami, Greene and Preble counties and translate into 2.1 percent of households being in foreclosure.<<

Link really has nothing more to add (given that it's the Dayton Daily News, which assumes its readership has the attention span of a fruit fly), but really -- what more needs to be said?

I think there were at least 5 pages...full pages. That made up 1/4th of the entire paper.:scared: :cry:
