Looks like it is finally over
It has been 2 months, to the day, all Clinton surrogates are wearing defeat tonight.

Bill is crying on the inside, Lisa Caputo referred to "the Clinton campaign" instead of "our campaign".

A lot of body language and choice of words seems to indicate that she now knows that has no options remaining.

1. Karl Rove looked really sad last night
the people had resolutely rejected the right-wing empire he built. He admitted that McCain only had a chance if the economy turned around in time.

I have been waiting to watch these Fox News jokers cringe since faked the results for Bush in 2004.

3. I did, the math laid out is pretty clear
If he were to get her on the ticket many supes will jump ship right now, but there is no way to do that without insulting her. And I don't think he wants to do that.

Barack has so much grace, Bill went to Mississippi and told the voters that a Hillary-Barack ticker would be an unbeatable dream ticket, sort of saying "its okay to vote for her even if you like him better, because she will take him along on the ticket in Nov".

Barack on the other hands, wants to earn the nomination decisively from the voters and the delegates. He does not want to talk from both sides just to get the nomination.

4. who woulda thunk?
this is beginning to remind me of the protracted, interminable end of the Gore Bush campaign. I was a county coordinator then, and it was a nightmare of disbelief, after all the work, all the esprit de corps.
