1. Glad to have you in Ohio... |

Wish I could tell you something about Cleveland but I try not to go there unless I have to....I stay in my own little area in S.E. Ohio which is home to great lakes, hiking trails and camping! Thats more my flow....anyways like I said glad to have you in Ohio and I hope you are ready for November?

2. Good luck in Cleveland and welcome to Ohio... |
|
I live in SW Ohio in the most intolerant red part of the state (Warren County). I do a lot of work in Cleveland and it is ok but I am not a big fan of the area. As far as that goes I am not a big fan of Cincinnati either! There are other places I would prefer to live (Seattle for starters) but my wife has an extremely good paying job here and since I am a consultant and can live just about anywhere there is a major airport we are here.

4. I moved here a year ago |

I was forced to move out of Michigan because of a sheriff deputy(ex-wife). I love Ohio. Taxes are just a little higher for me, but worth it. No dirt roads. Folks here have been very nice.

I think you'll like Cleveland. I live in NE Ohio (but not Cleveland) and enjoy the city when I visit. One thing to remember ... when they say "snow belt," they mean it. It really snows A LOT on the eastern suburbs.

7. Welcome and I would have to disagree |
|
I moved to Ohio a year and half ago I have would have to say that I have never met friendlier people. I moved from Oakland county Michigan to Pike county Ohio. Well lets say it was a little culture shock at first. The town I live in is a small town and its great! The only thing I miss from Michigan is the lakes where I lived in Michigan there was a lake every 5 to 10 miles. But I would have to say I work in sales in Ohio and the people are very friendly I get hellos and smiles. But like every state you do have your stuck up areas just like Michigan. I don't know much about Cleveland because I live in Southern Ohio (in the hills.) Welcome and hope that you have the same experience that I have had. Good Luck and best of luck!
