1. I thought this said "at the Rolling Woods Trailer home of Ed..."
 (I used to live in a mobile home and I was glad to have it so I'm not talking down mobile homes).

2. Hughes is a local physician, radiologist.
Guess he doesn't understand that millions of Americans don't have health care coverage. Since he can afford to pay his premiums, maybe he just doesn't care.

3. She should just wait a few weeks and go out to Preble County...
...they have one hell of a pork festival there. She'll feel right at home.

5. Given the rough shape Canton is in
and Dayton for that matter, it's hard for me to think about Palin gathering in big bucks from local idiots who don't care that their communities are crumbling around them. They somehow think that all the "little people" who are losing their jobs, their health insurance, and their homes to foreclosure don't matter.

7. It's the Shuring-Boccierri race probably. It's mystifying how these wonks come up
with their political strategy.

The storm yesterday knocked out all of the power in Kettering and I heard it could two weeks until it is back on. That will make for an interesting party.

9. Karma?
And given the state of the economy, it's rather fitting -- reverting back to the log cabin days, reading by candlelight, cooking over a fire...
