Obama yard sign
Some douche bag stole my yard signs last night. They took my Obama, Boccieri, and even my Cloverleaf school yard sign. I went today and bought another Obama sign, and also put out a bunch more. If this one gets swiped, I will make my own on a sheet of plywood for them to look at.

1. Hey, I like the sheet of plywood idea, DeadMan.
They're being stolen up and down my street here in Dayton, too.

2. its a good sign (no pun intended) when they start fighting dirty
in case you need a few yard signs, received this via email from MCDAC recently :

www.MedinaCountyDemocraticActionCommittee.org

---------------------

Good Morning

Last weekend, the Medina County Democratic HQ again ran out of Obama-Biden yard signs, so Susan and I purchased 1,000 signs directly from the Obama campaign.

These are now available at our home (280 Woodland Ave) for pick up or for placement. If you would like an Obama-Biden yard sign, please respond to this email josepha@wadsnet.com or telephone us at 330 334 6985.

Tell us (1) how many signs and (2) the address(es) of where you want us to place them. If you know friends or neighbors who would like signs, please let them know about this message or pick up signs for them. We'd like to get these signs in people's yards this weekend!

The 1,000 signs cost $1,990.00. If you would like to help with the cost, please send a check to Joseph Arpad and mark it clearly that it is For Obama-Biden Yard Signs.

We have received $625 in donations as of this morning. Thanks

Joe (the Democratic Plumber)

4. Well, they caught an EAGLE SCOUT
who stole approximately 150 signs in Bath Township in Summit County. His father called it a "prank." Hmmm.

Here's the link from the Akron Beacon Journal:

5. I hope that kid is forced to go to the first-time offenders program
and that he learns something from it.

Prank? I don't think so since the kids stole signs more than once. And, since the Eagle Scout is 18, this prank should be a part of his (criminal) record for a few years.

Stealing is against the law. Unless, of course, you work on Wall Street or for one of the bail-outs.

6. I echo your sentiment K...
it is sad to see parents encourage behavior that contradicts what they learn in scouting.

8. Did he learn this (stealing)
from Eagle Scouts? Gee, my son was a boy scount and I don't recall any meeting on "learning to steal" being offered. Maybe his troop ought to bounce his sorry ass.

10. Not sure
but stealing sure doesn't go w/any of the scouting ethics I'm aware of so I'm sure there could be some sort of repercussion from this act.

12. someone ought to file a complaint with the scouting
board to strip him of his eagle scout status or if he isn't one, deny him that status.

Then the little thief is going to spill the beans that it was dad & his friends encouraging the little boy to do their dirty work.

Hope someone will take steps to see this thing to the end.

11. Taking one yard sign may be a prank;
but returning another night and using two-way radios to take 150 more is STEALING!
