Congrats to all the volunteers in Ohio and to those in Hamilton County! This campaign rocked the vote and delivered a blue O-hi-o!

Tonight, we celebrated through the roof and around the bull of Cadillac Ranch. Visualize a bar that sits right on the street with a patio that is practically on the sidewalk. It has TV screens EVERYWHERE. Great setting as beautiful people poured in from all over the Tri-State and many others from all over this great nation to take part in ushering in a glorious new era of possibilities.

At last, they call the race for Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. The next President of The United States of America.

Our citizens were cheering in an exhilarated chorus of "Yes We Did!" We group hugged and cried out loud, many of us jumped up and down, everybody giving fist bumps and high five all over the place. A young black man hugged his big older white man Union buddy, and this sort of connection was happening for every single person there. People in the streets honking and shouting at the news.

I swear this city and time stood still for a moment. We were overwhelmed with joy and love for our fellow citizens.
Sisters and Brothers united behind hope and change for our country and our planet.

Later, I pull out of the parking garage while driving with teary eyes and my heart bursting with every emotion possible. I was all alone in this moment and also for the first time today. I had to pass by the bar again on my way to the highway. Of course I hit a light. People and volunteers were again celebrating out loud with O-BA-MA! Of course I joined in and began to beep my horn to the beat.

This has been the best night ever. I think my nerve endings were physically shaken. I realized that we had in fact made history together. We fought back and won to overcome fear and division. We took back this country for the people.

Mass love and thanks to every single person who made this happen. :kick:

2. I did
I was one of the volunteers from Texas who came to help out with the campaign (I was the idiot wearing the big Uncle Sam hat). I'm in awe of you folks. Your organization was very well organized and seemed to run like clockwork. I feel proud and humble that I got to assist the outfit that turned Ohio blue.

I hope we can do the same with Texas before too long.

5. I remember seeing you! Thank you so much for all of your help up here.
:yourock:

Maybe some of us will be able to return the favor next time around. Even a purple Texas would do, but it sure feels nice to turn ones state and county B-L-U-E! It was a night I will never forget and I hope we can continue to get people to stay involved.

Awesomeness! I had one victory beer followed by a slice of pizza as I had to drive home later. I'll try to gather up some pic sources and send them your way. If you have some pics of your own, please feel free to add to this thread. :toast:
