Ohio DUers any interest in starting a Meetup group on Meetup.com?

I was totally doing it until I got to the page for the credit card.

Yikes!

$19 for one month to $12 a month for $6.

I'm just so used to free stuff on the internet like Facebook.

That's like dial up money.

2. what was interesting is it's free to sign up for topics you want to meet about...

and then they get an email with an invite if a meetup group is formed for that topic.

there are a ton of people signed up for a Democratic party meetup group in my city.

I could do a one month for $19, just to see how many people sign up, then drop it and continue to meet offline.

My actual group would be called Writers for Obama.

Kind of like DU only we take it to MSM sites.
