hi, ohioans
i have been up every night, i cannot sleep, and I spend my time listening to the tv and reading posts about the economic stimulus.

in my mind, Ohio is the greatest state in the nation. We have a rich heritage of diverse human and natural resources.

I realize that Washington cannot play favorites, but we have so many resources and potential here.

What do you think are Ohio's greatest strengths and assets!

Thanks.

1. poli is...
Poli is one of Ohio's greatest strengths & assets !

In my opinion, Ohio is an average of - Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania with a touch of DC.

Game changing people are the greatest asset of any state or country, they accelerate things from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

In my humble opinion, our greatest flaw is the fiscal & administrative architecture of our public school system.

4. you are too kind.
I can tell you one thing today, that I feel a lot better after watching Obama on the tele last night.

I cannot remember ever seeing that level of exuberance on the floor of Congress. I slept thru the whole night for the first time in a long time:fistbump:

2. Governor Ted Strickland sat in the "First Lady's Box" last
night behind Michelle Obama during the Presidents Address to Congress. I'd say Ohio is a favorite child of the Administration. Democrats are grateful for what John Glenn, Ted Strickland and Jennifer Brunner have done to ensure a legal election and an honest election.

3. especially Brunner
She left no stone unturned to make sure that every board of elections was on notice that they better have their act together.

Barack didn't need Ohio, but he can thank Jen for making it a level playing field.

I love that woman.
