While I don't understand why the world of journalism continues to use the likes of Karl Rove and Newt Gingrich as so-called "experts," Denison can invite whoever they want for whatever desired outcome. And they are an institution of higher learning, to boot; their purpose is to stimulate thought and conversation.

Rather than complaining to the public affairs office, it might be more constructive to show up and protest, or write letters to the local media about this rogue's track record. Karl Rove is a low-down common thug. I bring up Newt Gingrich because I believe he has blood on his hands, for stoking up domestic militias, to the point that a federal building was bombed in Oklahoma.
