1. WTF does 'stuff' mean?
That headline is horrible, even for TV news.

"Mentor" can be a town (apparently) or a trusted elder. Sounds like a mentor either raped someone or WAS raped by someone. The word 'stuff' implies that this person was also raped by the police. For Christ's sake.

3. But you gottta be impressed with the dynamic "Rape" graphic
Edited on Mon Apr-27-09 01:16 PM by Bucky
<== it seems to be saying "Breaking evil awesomeness"

as if they're a "rape" beat the same way there's a "sports" beat or a "hurricane watch" beat.

4. TV news (especially the locals) does basically suck - especially the breaking stuff
In my world, news organizations would be prohibited from breaking any news on any event until at least 24 hours after the event (12 hours in an emergency). They seem to always get the important stuff at least 50% wrong

7. In January a woman was arrested for oral sex with a middle schooler in the same district.
Edited on Mon Apr-27-09 01:29 PM by FedUpWithIt All
Last month a woman from this same High School resigned after having sex with a 15 yr old student.

The high school is currently in international news because of a lawsuit by the parents of a bullied child who committed suicide. There were four suicides in 2 years. 44 student pregnancies in a single year.

Apparently, the district has real issues.

8. Im a student from this school
hey i am a senior at mentor high. When i walk in the halls of the school i am seriously disgusted with all these girls who want to get pregnant. in one of my classes a few weeks ago a couple of kids threw a party for her. the worst thing about these girls is that a few still smoke and drink.
some of the teachers are some of the best teachers out there. but they are overshadowed by these perverted educators. i think some of these teachers (if found guilty) should be made an example of and should be put in prison for a long time and never be aloud near any other child ever.
Another thing is the suicides i did not know any of them but i had friends who did at first they made it public about "twiggy" the one whose parents are suing the school. normally i wouldn't approve but if they win the case they are going to start a charity to better train teachers and administrators in student care.

i used to love that school but lately it just disgusts me.

(btw sorry if i misspelled anything)
