Question about your local newspaper

Today our newspaper received several calls in its "30 Seconds" call in column bashing Sherrod Brown. Sherrod hasn't been in the news here. It appears to me to be an orchestrated campaign to make people question the Senator.
Is it happening any where else?

It is clear that Sherrod Brown has paid no attention to what the people – the voters – were trying to tell him this summer. He is so stuck in his little ideological bubble he has paid no attention to statistics and experts, including the government budget office and the Mayo Clinic, that the public option will not reduce costs nor improve medical care and access. We tried to tell him. He did not listen.

3. Totally Orchestrated

This goes on all the time and these people (many of them who still think Stephen Colbert is really a wing nut - because of course wing nuts are irony deficient) think folks won't figure out when they all use exactly the same phrase and words and in the same order. It's the non in person version of the Fox News staffers goading on and organizing the 9/12 rallies and other public things.

In this case they are upset that Sherrod isn't paying attention to their crackpot fringe.

It's all hilarious, they think they're so smart and actually they tend more to being dumber than a box of rocks.

4. And what is sad to me is where this comes from

Dover/New Philadelphia is hurting economically, and their citizens are contacting the local newspaper to fight against health care reform that may be the only way they and their families will be able to get health care???

The great cynicism used by the very rich and powerful to exploit the poor, frightened, and uneducated angers me. Keep the poor frightened and working against their own best interest. Do these fools think that Voinovich does ANYTHING to help them?
