Kenneth Douglas Admits To Sexually Abusing Corpses

CINCINNATI -- A former morgue worker pleaded guilty to charges that he sexually abused two corpses.

Kenneth Douglas, 56, was already in prison after he was convicted in 2008 of having sex with the corpse of 19-year-old Karen Range of Cincinnati in 1982.

Douglas was charged in February with two more counts of abuse of corpse for allegedly sexually abusing two more women's bodies in 1991. Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said DNA linked the two cases to Douglas.

Douglas initially pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned in February, but changed his plea to guilty on Monday.

any more than the rings and necklaces are victims of a jewelry heist. The crime would be *rape* if the bodies were being treated as victims by the law. They are not so treated.

who attempted to dig up the fresh corpse of a 20 year old woman to have sex with it. The dig failed and they were arrested for disturbing the cemetary.

I believe they passed a specific law prohibiting sex with corpses after that. It is hurtful to the dead person's family.

35. Yes--I remember that story, because it was around the same time

that another story came out about young men in Wisconsin having sex with animals, and I remember thinking, What the hell, Wisconsin? But yeah, it would be very distressing for the family, plus the fact that many religions and traditions uphold that the dead should be treated respectfully. In the Catholic faith, one of the Corporal Works of Mercy is to bury the dead. It's an expression of humanity, what separates us from animals.

We'd expect to get flak for cracking jokes about rape, but a guy who has sex with dead bodies (which definitely qualifies as nonconsensual)? That's FUNNY to us. I guess.
