A state representative from southwest Ohio says he's campaigning for the office of state auditor.

Republican Seth Morgan, of Huber Heights, says he'll begin the campaign Thursday in Columbus.

Morgan says he believes Ohio needs to maintain an auditor who is a certified public accountant. The 31-year-old legislator seeks to replace incumbent Republican Mary Taylor, who is running for lieutenant governor alongside Republican gubernatorial candidate John Kasich

Morgan is serving his first term as a legislator.
