Turner has taken donations from his district's biggest employers - NCR, GM, ACX - who have in-turn packed up and moved their business (and the jobs) elsewhere. This has left Turner's economically devastated district's livelihood almost entirely dependent on taxpayer funded defense contracts.

The district had been held for over 20 years by Democrat Tony Hall, and we have a strong candidate this year who can win it back. David Esrati has a long history of going toe-to-toe with Mike Turner. He's a veteran, activist and a prolific blogger on national and local political issues. He's not taking PAC money, and is depending on small donations from individuals.
