Woman flashes breasts at youth football team

WESTWOOD – A woman is accused of flashing her breasts at a youth football team, coaches and parents.

Tonya Brown, 33, was arrested and charged with public indecency about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Hamilton County court documents.

She lifted her shirt on a field at Oskamp Park on Glenway Avenue in West Price Hill and exposed her breasts, Cincinnati police wrote in court records.

She was booked into the county jail, processed and released.

14. In the house I grew up in as a teenager, we had a big

picture window. Across the street was a similar house, also with a picture window. My parents liked to have the curtains open. So did the neighbor, a woman in her mid 30s, who averaged a trip a day across her living room naked...usually in the evening when we were watching TV in the living room.

My parents, who were not people to be easily offended, just told us to ignore that woman and mind our own business. I pretty much didn't pay attention to their advice. The show went on for four years. After a while, though, it just wasn't that interesting, even to a teenaged boy.

offended us, we could easily look away. "There goes Mary again," was their way of minimizing the event. It worked pretty well, and still represents my own personal philosophy about harmless stuff that offends many people. Mary's nakedness wasn't important, so we should just ignore it and go on about minding our own business. They also didn't object if I looked at Mary, so I got bored with that pretty fast, too.

My parents were very bright that way in raising their kids.

41. I saw a great video once. It was made in Poland.

In it, a young woman stripped absolutely naked on a busy public street in some city in Poland, and casually strolled down the street. You only saw her from the back in the video. What was remarkable was the completely unperturbed reaction of the people on the sidewalk. Most glanced at her, but there was universally no particular visible reaction from the other walkers. They just went about their business. Probably some wondered why this woman was naked and walking down the street, but it looked like they all figured that was her affair, and none of theirs.

It seemed an appropriate reaction to me.

Now, I have to say that I lived in a big communal house while in college, with about 20 other people. Casual nudity was a normal event there, and we even had a big coed outdoor shower that got a lot of use during the hot months. It just was never an issue with anyone who lived there. If it was an issue, there were lots of other places a person could live. My first wife and I shared one of the rooms in that house. It didn't occur to us that it was a bad thing. I guess it's all about attitudes.
