CLEVELAND: The state rested its case against Matthew Warmus on Friday, after presenting a seventh witness who said he didn't see a parking lot attendant pull out his gun before Warmus shot him to death.
In addition, a Cleveland homicide detective said Warmus refused to speak to investigators after his arrest and never told them he killed 27-year-old David Williams in self-defense.
