K-sick in Cleveland tomorrow!! Northshore AFL-CIO organizing a demonstration from
11:30 to 1:30.....please circulate this info to your address books. We cannot give up the fight. Thanks!!!

here is a snip of the email they sent out.

Sisters & Brothers

While Gov. Kasich turned tail & ran the other direction Monday, he really is coming to Mayor Jackson’s State of the City address. This event, sponsored by the City Club, will be held Thursday March 3 from 11:30-1:30 at Public Hall.

We need to make sure Kasich knows that when he invites himself to events in Cleveland, there is a price to be paid for his anti-worker policies. Come help give him a REAL Cleveland Welcome by surrounding Public Hall with demonstrators holding signs to send him our message.

We need some really clever signs to increase our chances of getting media attention. It is also necessary to distinguish Mayor Jackson’s successful utilization of collective bargaining from Kasich’s opposition to the entire collective bargaining process. You are welcome to join us tomorrow to make these clever signs.

Due to the difficulty of parking downtown, we recommend that you come to our office at 11 so that we can carpool downtown.

As always, an RSVP would help the planning for this demonstration.

If you haven’t had the exhilarating experience of demonstrating against John Kasich and his commitment to destroy the middle class, this is your chance to join the new movement for Good Jobs & Strong Communities.

In Solidarity,
Harriet Applegate.
