Sherrod Brown responds to DSM letter

I recently wrote to Rep. Brown about John Conyers and the DSM, here is a portion of his reply to me:

"I am concerned about the disclosures in the Downing Street memo that
there may have been a coordinated effort with the U.S. intelligence
community and British officials to "fix" the intelligence and facts to
justify invading Iraq. I joined 89 of my colleagues in sending a letter
to President Bush, asking for an explanation of the secret memo.

The President and the U.S. intelligence community must be held
accountable if they misstated or were mistaken about the extent of the
Iraqi threat. Congress has an obligation to investigate this issue, and I will continue to advocate for a public inquiry."
