It's a fundraiser, but it's quite a bit cheaper than the Cincinnati luncheon at $1,000 a pop. For $250, it would appear you can snag one of the cheap seats. Here's the info; if you're holding out on a major donation, this might be a good opportunity; since the checks must be made out to "Kerry Victory 2004", it's likely that not all the money would be earmarked for Kerry, but sent out to various Buckeye candidates (or, is it all going to Coleman?).
John Kerry in Columbus Mayor Mike Coleman will be hosting a breakfast for Senator John Kerry Wednesday, June 16, 2004. Beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The levels for the event are: $250 Guest $250 Special Guest
$1,000 Silver $2,000 Gold
$10,000 Host Committee $25,000-50,000 Vice-Chair $100,000 Co-Chair
Checks should be made out to: Kerry Victory 2004. Due to federal campaign finance laws, an individual can write a check for up to $27,000. The first $2,000 will automatically go to the Kerry Campaign and any remaining over that will go to the DNC to be earmarked for Kerry.
Please remember that the committee cannot accept any corporate checks. Personal checks, PCE checks and checks from LLCs, LLPs, trusts and the like are acceptable. PAC checks should be written to the Democratic National Committee.
For more information, or to RSVP for the event, please contact the Coleman for Columbus Committee at 614.221.1999.
