He explained to Matthews why he wanted the chance to make a difference in Congress, what his country means to him, why he thinks Bush is a chickenhawk :rofl: ..etc..

Matthews kept pressing him on why he has a concealed gun permit (stupid question :eyes: ) but he handled it perfectly.

Matthews wasn't able to rile him at all.. he did great! Chris Matthews asked him back on again if he wins.. :)

3. Yep, He was great!

Wasn't flustered by anything Tweety threw at him, and looked very comfortable during the whole interview. No fake "nice face for the public" or sicky plastered smile...he's the real deal! Man, this makes me miss having REAL people in congress, not political robots. I hope he wins big.....he deserves it.

4. yep he looked like a winner

he said people have been taking a few pot shots at him, he said he was unfazed compared to those from before. I think he was referring to the the attack on his convoy in iraq.

Come to think of it, it is hard for a bunch of chickenhawks to rattle a brave soldier who voluntarily walked into insurgency capital and walked out unfazed. Its like taking to moths to the flame.

why was matthews questioning him so much about his license for concealing a weapon. Is that the best scandal he could create for this up and coming dem star? This guy fought in Iraq because he wanted to serve his country. And he has the cajones to call * what he is...CHICKENHAWK! Loved his definition of it as well! I pray he wins on Tuesday! Wish I was in ohio so I could vote for him.

6. No Bullshit Whatsoever

He clearly came out and said that he would have voted against giving Bush authorization and said that he wasn't a bit sorry that he called Bush a chickenhawk and that he stood my that statement.
