Tulsa radio prick Michael DelGiorno is being sued for lying on air.
And Michael isn't returning calls made by KOTV. HAHAHAHA. So, he can dish it, but when confronted, hides like a scared fucking rat.

City Councilor Heated Over Talk Show Host's Fired Up Comments

It started on the airwaves, but now a dispute between a Tulsa City Councilor and popular morning radio host could be headed for a courtroom.

City Councilor Bill Christiansen is suing Michael DelGiorno and his radio station, KFAQ for defamation and emotional distress.

Peters says that DelGiorno said he doesn't remember making some of the statements. But Peters says they have a minimum of four months worth of recordings of DelGiorno's show to prove he made the comments.

2. I read that in the morning paper
Christiansen is one of those old line Republicans. He's not a right-winger in any sense... and LOL his daughter-in-law won't take the Kerry sticker off her car either.

He's a nice man and I wish him all the luck in the world with this.

4. Sorry to make fun of a very good post.......
what is it with all the right-wing assholes on radio going off the deep end this week. I had fun with Boob "Gunny" Newman in a personal flame war via email this week. The guy is a total wacko, couldn't get a straight answer out of him, just gibberish put downs and mocking comments about my immaturity. Rhandi Rhodes has been mentioning him to any vets....but you may as well wait for pigs to fly as try to talk sense to this moran.

6. Good. I've known Bill for many years, he used to let me borrow one of
his airplanes when I couldn't use our company's. I don't think we ever discussed politics but from what little I know of KFAQ (the old KVOO apparatus) I imagine he's right...that those bastards did defame him.
The only radio I listen to these days is KWGS...

9. are you saying KFAQ is run by those who used to run KVOO?
'what little I know of KFAQ (the old KVOO apparatus)'

still shocked that KVOO became KFAQ so quick.....still remember the Eggs at Eight show when I was growing up......and the 'take it away, Leon!' for L McAuliffe (sp?) and His Western Swing Band

my aunt's 2nd husband used to do the fishing programs in the 50s; she worked as a secretary there for years until her retirement

10. That's about it for me, too.
Except I set a button on my car radio to FM 94.1 after it changed format and is now "The Sound." If you haven't heard it, they play good old music and don't talk over it, and I love their selections.

But I still listen to KWGS most of the time when I'm in my car and sometimes at home also. I think my dogs get tired of it, they'd probably like more music, but I hafta get my NPR fixes -- like right now listening to my very favorite program, Ira Flatow doing "Science Friday."

12. DelGiorno is a loud mouth
The only good thing he's done was getting everyone involved to save City Councilors Medlock and Mautino from the recall gang. He was very helpful in that instance, but I can't stand to listen to him. He's very arrogant and self-serving. Kind of like a certain President with a name that could be on a sign in a nursery (and not a baby nursery).

13. The company I work for
Did some work with DelGiorno - fortunately before I got there. We also undertook a printing job for a new tax levy for Jenks school (one of the co-workers does a lot of things with Jenks and has kids in the band program, and the boss has a music degree of all things), and they talked about how they wanted to keep the whole thing hush-hush so that DelGiorno wouldn't find out about it and start railing against how all taxes are bad taxes. The proposition passed.

15. DelGiorno discussing the election of new mayor
he clearly considers himself to be the 'Tulsa kingmaker' and the director of the local republican party...or at least that's what he wants to be
