Halliburton to hold meeting in Duncan, Okla. (17 May)
By Associated Press

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Halliburton Co. will hold its annual shareholders meeting May 17 in Duncan, where the oilfield services conglomerate began. <snip>

Halliburton moved its corporate headquarters from Duncan to Dallas in 1961, but the annual meeting was held in Duncan until 1972. The company has been based in Houston since 2003.

The company, which was once led by Vice President Dick Cheney, has been taking heat since the beginning of the war in Iraq for receiving multibillion-dollar, noncompetitive government contracts.

Eighteen members of the Houston Global Awareness Collective were arrested at last year’s meeting. Katie Heim of Global Awareness said her group plans to protest this year’s meeting.

3. Is this only for shareholders, or "open to the public"?
How much access would "we" have? Might be interesting to find out, hm? Let me know what you find out!! =)
