Poll question: In which part of Oklahoma do DUers live?
Edited on Thu Aug-24-06 10:49 AM by AndyA
Just curious to see how DU members are spread out around the state. Has anyone ever thought of holding local DU gatherings?

1. In which category does Muskogee fit?
I don't consider Muskogee a Tulsa Metro nor do I consider it NE or the Sallisaw region.

2. I ran out of options on the poll. I guess Muskogee/Tahlequah
could be counted with Tulsa Metro, but I realize they really aren't part of the metro area, nor are they close to anything else listed. It won't let me edit the poll again, I originally envisioned having "Other" as an option, but I forgot to include it.

I guess anyone in an area they feel isn't really represented by the options listed could post a message with their city so it will be counted.

Sorry, I didn't mean to exclude anyone.

3. It's NE according to the city's website
"Muskogee is in northeast Oklahoma, about 50 miles southeast of Tulsa and 50 miles west of the Oklahoma-Arkansas state line."

8. I chose "northeast" for lack of a better choice. Wagoner here
20 miles north of Muskogee, 40 miles east of Tulsa...right on the shore of Ft. Gibson lake actually,
Snug Harbor. ;-)

9. I want to choose Ada/Pauls Valley ...

Because I grew up in Ada and still have this weird thrill run through me whenever I see the town mention on a national forum, I want to vote that.

But, I live in OKC now.

10. I don't live there
but I'm near the NE corner of the state, on the Missouri side...I got to Jay/Grove quite a bit. My wife has relatives in Jay/Grove, and I go to the IHS clinic in Jay once a month. We are about 7 miles from Seneca Missouri, which I believe is a border town, next to Oklahoma line...:)
