1. Ummmm
Yeah, of course I have heard about it. It is the lead story on the local news here. Hard not to have heard unless one completely avoids the local media (which is entirely justified in some instances).

3. Hey There
I've been trying to lay low during the primary fuss since I didn't have much of a stake in the Hillary/Obama contest. I will be voting for the Democrat in November it just won't be that particular Dem I had hoped. Certainly not a new experience for me.

I don't know how the Tulsa World has been covering this story because I refuse to read it. The girl's family had moved from OKC and the Daily Oklahoman has had quite a bit of coverage. The local networks here have had lots of stories and interviews. Don't remember who but somebody had an interview with the local sheriff early on who said that there were three suspects. No description given or reasons for considering them as suspects. A few days later another story reported that the perpetrator(s) were believed to be local residents - reason being that only someone familiar with the area would venture onto that remote road. I question that logic. I grew up in a rural area and walked similar off the beaten path dirt roads. My experience of several decades ago tells me the logic is flawed. As does my experience with GPS map and travel assistants. I used one last year to find my way around similar dirt roads in the Appalachians.

Its tragic what happened to these girls and their families.

4. You won't read the Tulsa World, but you'll read the Daily Oklahoman?
It's garbage more so than the Tulsa World.
This whole case is insane, sad, and heartbreaking. I keep watching for new info. They're probably never going to find the true murderers.

5. Alas........
I know a fundie republican who reads the Daily Oklahoman and feels the need to inform me of its contents. This would be the same person who has given me a book praising shrubbie, another book dissing Hillary and a couple of religious books. I just figure it is my patriotic obligation to accept this trash in the spirit it is intended - and to promptly deposit it in the nearest trash container.
