I love all kinds of food. We will be driving from Florida, but right now we live in the United Arab Emirates. It's been almost three years since I've been back to Tulsa to see my family, so I'm very excited about my trip.

I have relatives who have moved to North Carolina, South Carolina and New York City...and they all want sweet barbeque when they come home. (Not that nasty vinegar stuff)

Every other member of my family loves the sweet BBQ, but I prefer the, um, nasty vinegar stuff. Maybe that's why they are in Tulsa, still, and I'm not! Ok, maybe not.

My parents thought Knotty Pine BBQ was the best in the world. Ever been there?

11. I have an old aquaintance there

in the United Arab Emirates. We used to be in the same playgroup with our sons here in Tulsa.

Now b-b-q, hands down, Papa Toms. 131st and Memorial. Old Filling Station. I grew up going to the Knotty Pine...but it's kind of gone down hill taste-wise, in my opinion.

14. My parents live in the housing area near The Falls

really close to Woodland Hills Mall and a million other places. I'm hoping that my mom will come with me to meet people, because she is a good moderate Democrat. (I'm not moderate.)

I feel a little bad asking for someone else to suggest places and times, but we are pretty much free to do whatever.
