"...a man who will make such statements in public certainly isn't above abusing his power to substitute his views or feelings for those he considers inadequate to make those kinds of decisions themselves. I also am keenly aware that Coburn's actions and comments are putting Oklahoma politics on the receiving end of countless jokes on late night television and are making a mockery of the very people he is seeking to represent."

It's a pretty little town. A neat town square. I always loved going through there on my way to Elk City to see my grandmother.

It's an idyllic little town. The downtown is being restored and residential streets are attractive and well kept. The people are great too, but mostly very conservative, and that's why I was surprised to see this editorial in the Beacon.

"Rampant lesbiansim" was ALL OVER the Mike Malloy show the other night. If I weren't so embarrassed by this idiot, it would have been funny.
