When are we going to see Scott Thomason back on TV?

The guy did a hit-and-run or some other auto accident that was his fault where he acted poorly, and since then he's been off of the airwaves with his annoying commercials. Have we seen the last of this man?

I liked Tom. Got a kick out of his crew cut, enthusiasm and of course the tag line, "Free is a very good price!" that became a part of our lexicon. Haven't seen him in a long, long time. Aside from a bankruptcy (hey, it happens), I never heard anything negative about him, unlike Thomason who was a real slime IMHO.

True I got the loss leader they put in the paper that are never there when you go to buy them, but somehow I caught one of those unicorns.

Poor Scott got over 100 million for his dealerships (if I remember right) and headed for greener pastures.

5. Rumors rumors

I've heard all sorts of nasty rumors about his reasons for leaving pdx. It runs from alien abduction to pediphilia. though I lean the alien abduction route, I personally don;t like th eguy b/c I got a shitty Nissan from him and had tons of problems with his BS warranty. I'm glad he is gone, hopefully those aliens on Alpha Prime don't let him set up a used space ship hut.

Those dumb flags on his lots drove me nuts. You'd be enjoying a pleasant drive and then be inundated with 500 yellow flags that went on for a half mile or so...with what looked like Bill Gates's face on them. I didn't know he sold out and left town. Who bought them?

11. Scott Thomason sighting!

Just perusing my Oregon forum, saw this thread and had to report this: I was in Portland a couple weeks ago for an evening event at a downtown hotel, and who should enter the elevator I was on but our very own Scott Thomason. So looks like he's still around, and alas, we have not seen the last of him.

It was all I could do to control my laughter as I was forced to stand next to him for 2-3 floors. Argh!
