There is only one way: get involved in your local party. At local Democratic party gatherings, you will meet fellow Democrats spanning the spectrum from friendly Kucinich supporters to those awful DLCers (:P), you will learn how to be effective advocates, and you'll have a good time. And with your support and input, the party, the state, and the nation will change for the better.
