2/21 School Funding Rally

Dear Friends,

It seems like only yesterday we were winning the battle in Oregon only to lose our larger effort. I know many of you felt as sad and defeated as I did. But as is true of all good people everywhere, we are not going to give up. There are opportunities to make a difference in our communities every day and I am writing tonight to tell you about one.

Stand for Children is a nonprofit membership organization that helps people who care about children come together to advocate for concrete, lasting changes that improve the lives of children and we have a affiliate right here in Oregon. Below are the details of their upcoming school funding rally and a link you can follow if you would like to get involved.

There will also be training and grassroots lobbying from 10am-3pm.

I'm bringing a group of other youth activists from Ashland High School.

working at an Oregon school. I'll send good thoughts for the rally.
