Your first link went to "Americans for Better Immigration", an interest group which gives the likes of Asa Hutchinson - Bush's Immigration and Homeland Security Czar, an A+. This interest group's belief seems to be that we need to keep all those brown people out of the U.S., and man those Bushies are really great at it!
Your second link went to unions, who gave her an "82% lifetime right" (as in they approved). By contrast, Walden, a typical republican had a 17% lifetime right.
Your third link went to opensecrets, where we find that Darlene receives about equal support from individuals, PACs (including unions) and businesses. Oh, great tragedy. (Great surprise too.)
The next went to NOW, where she is considered on the right side of the issues in 16 out of 20 times. A full third of the republicans were on the right side of the issue ZERO out of twenty times. Furthermore, most of the issues Darlene was "wrong" on were unworkable bureaucratic nightmares that would make Democrats big fat targets in the general election.
The ACLU calls her right on 4 of 6 issues. One of which was a meaningless vote of "support", and the other which was a 'try certain juveniles as adults' measure.
The next went to an environmentalist group that not only gives her an 83% lifetime record, but one of the votes they judge the whole congress on is a rider that she herself authored!
The next link goes to "
http://christianpatriot.com ", which decries her support for Permanent Most Favored Nation status to China. As far as I'm concerned, the wealthier the Chinese get, the less likely we are to have a nuclear war with them. But then, I'm not a "Christian Patriot". I'm just the regular kind.
I could go on, but it's pretty obvious that Darlene Hooley is a moderate, slightly left of the party center, Democrat. She's a bit more liberal than I would like, but I were in her district, I'd support her in a heartbeat.
Unlike you.
The simple fact is that you are - despite your party registration - not a Democrat. Anyone who does not support, and does not vote for the Democrat in the general election is NOT a Democrat. Period.
So please go and find the "Green Underground" and post to your hearts content there. Thank you.
