Bush hits target in Iraq speech
The president was right on the mark . He told it like it is: We do not leave until the job is done. It's time the American public started hearing the real truth, not what the liberal media want us to hear. War is tough. No one said it wasn't!

4. Reflects a problem nevertheless

When I read letters such as this one, I am still concerned because it reflects the fact that we still have too many uninformed still out there. To counteract the present administration's obscene bent for expending precious lives and taxpayers' money, the public will need to be unified. Anyway, that's my take on it.

There was a huge amount against him and only one for Bush. Did you read yesterday's?

8. That line, "War is tough", got my hackles up this morning.

School is tough. Meat is tough. War, on the other hand, is barbaric and murdurous.

Obviously the writer has no experience in combat.

It is unfortunate that Bush the Younger, Chaney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Rove, Wolfowitz and this lady in the comfort of her Lake Oswego home, combined, have less experience in combat than I have.

I don't go around talking up war the way these people do.

Why is that?

We still get the thing for the Sports section, the A&E, and a few other Sunday sections. I often avoid the rest of the paper altogether, however.
