:wow:
Doubt that anybody else will charge that kind of money.
Democratic Party of Oregon Presidential Speaker Series Kicks Off
President Bill Clinton leads first event on Tuesday, April 17. All Democratic presidential candidates are invited to join the series.
Do you want to meet past and future Democratic presidents and support your state party? Then get involved with the Democratic Party of Oregon's Presidential Speaker Series.
The series, organized by the DPO's President's Council, brings Democratic presidential candidates - and one potential first husband - to Oregon. The series is an opportunity for candidates to build support for their campaigns and talk to community and political leaders in a small setting about the issues facing our state.
Former President Bill Clinton will speak at the first event in the DPO Presidential Speaker Series next Tuesday, April 17. He will keynote a small reception for U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign at 8:00 pm at Win McCormack's Portland home overlooking the Willamette River.
Tickets are $2,300 per person. RSVP to Stefanie Roumeliotes at 415-402-0303 or sroumeliotes@hillaryclinton.com. For local contact, call Sue Castner at 503-203-1027.
Already scheduled for this Spring are former U.S. Senator John Edwards of North Carolina and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. Robert Stoll will co-host the event for Senator Edwards. We'll get you more information about these events as soon as possible. We are inviting every Democratic presidential candidate to participate.
Each event raises funds for the candidate and the cost of the event will be determined by the campaign. We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to support the DPO's Presidential Speaker Series.
For more information on the series and how to join the DPO's President's Council, please contact Elizabeth Wilson at 503-239-8629 or elizabeth@dpo.org.
Together, we can support our candidates and our party. Together, we can lay the foundation for capturing the White House in 2008.
Sincerely,
Meredith Wood Smith, Chair, DPO
Win McCormack, Chair, DPO Democratic President's Council
