1. I'm easy, but ideally it's outside, allows dogs, and serves killer margaritas. n/t

2. I'd like to come to one
But I'll only have a bike as transportation this Saturday. If it's in Beaverton, Tigard, or the southwest part of Portland, I can make it.

It'd be great to raise a glass with some Portland DUers.

3. We'd love to meet you!
And Southwest is best for me this time too, I'll need to be home by Midnight or I'll turn into a pumpkin...

... actually, I'll be the only responsible adult at home this weekend, and I can't risk getting stuck after the buses stop running.

4. I have a new weekly commitment
I am now responsible for setting up a weekly mtg. at 5:30 to 6:30. Need something close in SW or NW or ir will be too much of a pain to do everything. Since we are unoriginal I vote for Goose Hollow. Dog friendly, liberal friendly. Most of you know the place. For those who don't, http://goosehollowinn.com ,easy commute. Cant be there until 7pm. Or I'll see you all next month

7. Downtown won't work for me tomorrow
And are you referring to Max's on Main in Tigard?

The location is fine for me, but I had a really bad experience there two Sundays ago -- My wife, my two-year-old daughter and I went there for an early dinner. My daughter enjoyed the play area they have, but that is the only good comment I have about the place. I ordered their $8+ burger and got a piece of meat resembling shoe leather on a stale, burnt bun, with a garnish of a dried-out tomato end, a day-old slice of onion and a freezer-burned piece of lettuce. When I honestly responded to the waiter's question of "How was everything?", he said to come back some other time and give them another chance, that some of the help called in sick, the cook was new, blah blah blah. If they knew things were so substandard, they should have warned us before we ordered. We vowed not to ever go back. It was really that bad.

I'll keep my eyes on this space, and if the venue works for me in the coming months, I'll be there. I can't make it downtown tomorrow, and I will not set foot in Max's again -- even if I were willing to give them another chance, my wife would not allow it.

8. We mostly go there for the beer...
one or two are really good, the one meal I had was ok.
They do seem to have a problem getting good wait staff. 3 times I've been in there, and every time I have had to go find someone to order a beer from, they pay no attention to the door. Once you can get their attention the service is pretty good.
:( I do love the concept of the place tho, did you see the murals on the columns and the back wall? And that Bar! (200 year old log dredged from the Columbia and coated 7 times with lacquer. Beautiful craftsmanship. I was given a tour by the mural painter during construction.) I hope they manage to pull it together.

Please do join us when you can, but beware... we rarely end up discussing politics!
