Barack Obama is Coming to Oregon THIS FRIDAY!
From www.blueoregon.com:

The Oregonian is reporting that Barack Obama is headed to Oregon on Friday.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama appears headed for Oregon this week. Sources close to the campaign say he's planning to visit the state Friday, with a number of stops.
Mentioned were Portland, Eugene, Salem and Medford. It's unclear how much time he plans to spend at each place, or what sort of events he plans to hold. He typically holds at least one big all-comer rally when he campaigns.

2. Here's more:
Word is, he will be speaking at McArthur Court at the U of O on Friday night, 8-ish. It seats about 9,000, but I assume there will be standing room as well. At any rate, I imagine it'll require standing in line for quite a while to get in.

6. Couldn't get a ticket, dammit! maybe next time. But I watched...
the entire rally and speech. I think it's one of his 10 all-time best. Not a "home-run" speech, but with a lead-off double and a string of singles, you don't always need a home-run.

Richardson's endorsement: powerful, honest, intelligent, timely. Now...wither Edwards??? (John, now's the time, you know you'd love to be AG, go with your gut)

Obama's strongest statements yet regarding the constitution. Clinton and McClain are not anti-constitutionalists like Bush and his thugs, but Obama is magnitudes better than either. There is no more important task for the next president than restoring the bill of rights, and Obama gets that.

Maybe his most natural, thoughtful, and relaxed statements on race. He has "found his voice" on this issue.

Very wisely, he's not wasting time attacking either Clinton or McCain. Long run, sticking to the high-ground only helps him.

Richardson now has to be considered at the top of the short-list for potential Obama VP candidates.

My personal "Dream Team?"

President Obama
VP Richardson
AG Edwards
Sec State Clinton (or UN Ambassador)
Sec Def Clarke

7. Obama was superb ....
I love that man ... He possesses a courage of his own convictions, and backbone enough to express them and stand for them ...

I support both candidates, but the man is on an incredible roll ....
