Got your Oregon voters' pamphlet yet?
The first half (ballot measures) showed up in my mail box today.

Don't walk, RUN to the arguments in favor of Ballot Measure 36! :)

1. ballots
i will probably get it today

I cant wait to see those hate filled yes on 36 ads

I saw a pickup truck with a Bush/Cheney bumper sign
and also a yes on 36, one man one woman sign
the lady looked like a brainwashed hate filled right winger

3. Isn't it amazing how similar the fundy rightwingers look?
White. Lower-middle class. Mad as hell about their lot in life. Determined to rob others of the joy they failed to find for themselves.

I can see it all just with one sidelong look at their puffy, scowling faces and lifeless zombie eyes, while passing their "Yes on 36" bedecked pickup trucks and minivans.

4. I'm almost afraid to look. And don't you know it's going to pass...
In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this little chunk of bigotry get 60% of the vote. Let's hope it doesn't give the rightwing too much of a boost in turnout. :scared:

I've gotten many people registered to vote this year based on measure 36 alone. I've found that college students who could care less about politicans actually care about measure 36. Even the generally apethetic realize that hatred has no place in our constitution.

6. I fear you are right, my friend
And I'm doubly pissed about it because it is a wedge issue being used by sleazy Republicans to increase the vote turnout among the bigot class.

7. Read the Arguments in Favor of Measure 36
No Really. Someone pointed out to me that there are some "trojan horses" on Page 78. It's sarcasm that the typical Measure 36 supporter might not get.
