Democrats vying to replace David Wu play nice in Tuesday's debateAnyone looking for clear differences among the three Democratic candidates in the race to replace former Oregon Rep. David Wu probably came away disappointed after Tuesday's televised debate.
Brad Witt, Brad Avakian and Suzanne Bonamici largely -- if not completely -- agreed on nearly every issue that came up during the hour-long questioning on everything from foreign policy to how they'd keep their sanity if elected.
Given the opportunity to even lightly criticize one another, they mostly passed.
They all said they support the "occupy" protesters, and they want to quickly bring troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan. Each said their main focus would be on creating jobs by pushing for some kind of massive, nationwide construction program. Each said they would pay for the program by raising taxes on wealthy Americans.
