I heard last night at the campaign office that so far more democrats are voting than republicans. Also, a lot of NAV, and others are voting.

2. From phone-banking swing GOP voters... |

I'd say it's going to be Wu in a landslide. I didn't call a single person who was switching their vote to Ameri because of his college mistake. I did talk to several who thought bringing it up 28 years later when the woman herself never complained was pretty cheap, and decided to vote for Wu because of it.

3. Excellent news. Thank you. |

I had read that after the Oregonian story, Ameri's negatives were still way way way higher than Wu's. And I know a lot of folks in Wu's district who love having him as their Representative.

4. Women support Wu- he is for choice. Ameri is supported by... |
|
an Oregon Right to Life group.
I think it is going to be Wu.

5. Now this is good news- I figured Wu was in for a hard fight but maybe not? |
|
Looks like Wu's campaign managed to pull a Rove-style Jedi Mind Trick and turn the outrage back on the timing of the message rather than the content. That's something Democrats frequently struggle with.

6. I hope this backfires like the time |

Bill Witt tried to win over Elizabeth Furse in that district by trying to make it look as if she had gotten an illegal loan. Her bank came right out and said that the loan was perfectly legal, money for setup expenses in Washington with her farm as collateral.
That was the end of Bill Witt's Congressional aspirations.
