Petition Opposes Hershey's Movement of Jobs to Mexico
http://kissesforhershey.blogspot.com/

The above includes info. and a link to an online petition. The Hershey Co. has told employees that 3,000 jobs will be eliminated in the US and Canada. The company told the press there was 1,500 jobs being eliminated, but that is after the new employees are hired in Mexico. Hershey has already eliminated 2,000 jobs in recent years and has moved many jobs to a non-union plant in Virginia.

Note - after you sign the petition, you may be asked if you want to donate to the group that hosts the petition. You can ignore it - it has nothing to do with the people who organized the petition.

Hershey's - the great Mexican chocolate bar.

I can't even imagine Hershey bars and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups being made in Mexico!

That factory is the lifeblood of the people living in Hershey and Derry Township. Has there been a rally in the Harrisburg area to protest this
action?

3. JP, I think I answered my own question regarding a protest at Hershey

Reading through the comments on the petition, Brad Reese (the grandson of the creator of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups) posted a message stating that there will be a rally at the Hershey plant on Saturday, March 3rd (this coming Saturday) at the Hershey Italian Lodge.
