The two-year anniversary of the mysterious disappearnce of Centre County DA Ray Gricar
is approaching. To refresh your memory: http://www.raygricar.com/.

Do you have any opinion on this? I think that if he had met with foul play due to someone he previously sent to jail, they would have been able to track down a few likely suspects. Which isn't to say that didn't happen, but there has been no mention of this in the press reports that I can recall.

I think suicide is very possible, the only thing throwing me off is that his laptop was found in the nearby river. Why would he throw his laptop away before killing himself?

It's all quite mysterious. I hope for his family's sake that they can resolve this soon.

1. Puzzling Facts

At one time I was a member of a Forum called, "In Sessions", and after posting some information concerning a possible motive, as I believe that I was the last poster, the forum simply disappeared from the internet.

I was also of the belief that CNN was the sponsor of the forum, I sent them an Email asking about what happen but have not had a reply.

The motive that I gave was that he was simply chosen to terrorize a resigned employee of another County's Dar's office. And that the crime was perpetrated by an organization.

The DA's assistant who resigned moved to Princeton New Jersey, and I was communicating with Chief Anthony Federico, lead investigator on the Stuart Homicide of Princeton, we were discussing the association between the Stuart Homicide and a Princeton Student Murder that was reported by the Philadelphia News Media concerning the shooting of a Princeton Student in the State of California, a crime with no known motive.

Before we could discuss this to any degree, Chief Anthony Federico, took a vacation and suddenly died.

Any information you may have concerning the, "In Session Forum",
will be appreciated.

2. What a strange and sad story.
I really had never heard about DA Gricar before, so I did some reading up on this case.

It's quite eerie that Mr. Gricar's brother committed suicide. They found his body in a river in Ohio.

It would be a comfort to his family if they could find some kind of closure, but it seems unlikely that will ever happen.

3. I suppose so !
If you read up on this case then you missed the many pages from the

"In - Sessions Forum", . . it also disappeared from the internet.
That in itself is a little strange wouldn't you say, I mean, . . don't you think there would be at the least consideration to archive the material for the readers and posters.

So you mention his brothers suicide, and maybe because you have a tendency to believe he committed suicide also, so if he did, then would you think his body would be in the vicinity of where his car was found.

I don't think he committed suicide, I think that he was murdered in order to terrorize a District Attorneys Assistant, who moved from Pennsylvania to Princeton New Jersey, . . when explaining this to to the Chief Investigator there in Major Crimes, before a responsive discussion could take place he suddenly died while on vacation.

When I posted this to the Ray Gricar Case Bingo the Forum Disappeared and CNN has not made any replies as to why.

I think there is a big old farce going on somewhere on the inside of all that CNN FOX, CNBC Bull, . . and the Nancy Grace Bunk, if you ask me I think they are a propaganda front for the two generations of Bush People and Obama is a yes man for them, when I say Bush People I mean the oilers and war mongers in around and about Congress and WDC.

Personally I think this thing is starting to smell bad !

4. Mr. Gricar was declared dead yesterday.
At least his family can move on with the legal matters, but it's still a bittersweet development.

5. New development! Is missing DA Gricar in jail in Utah?
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/11207/1163043-100.stm?cmpid=news.xml

Authorities in Centre County and Provo, Utah, are looking into whether a man arrested on misdemeanor charges might be a long-missing district attorney from the middle of the state.

The sheriff's office in Provo announced last week that it was searching for the identity of a man arrested three weeks ago who refused to give police his name. The office received hundreds of e-mails wondering if it might be Ray Gricar, the former Centre County district attorney who mysteriously disappeared in April 2005, the Centre Daily Times reported. Mr. Gricar was just declared legally dead at the request of the district attorney's daughter.

A detective in Bellefone, Centre County, told the newspaper he was checking with Utah authorities on the case but did not think the mysterious man is Mr. Gricar

I don't see the resemblance, but I could be wrong. Wouldn't this be an interesting twist in the case?

7. It is really strange, but I guess it's not him after all.
The sheriff's office in Provo, Utah, announced last week that it was searching for the identity of a man arrested three weeks ago who refused to give police his name. The office received hundreds of emails wondering if it might be Ray Gricar, the former Centre County district attorney who mysteriously disappeared in April 2005, the Centre Daily Times reported. Mr. Gricar was just declared legally dead at the request of the district attorney's daughter.

The lead investigator in the disappearance, Det. Matthew Rickard of the Bellefonte, Centre County, police told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in an email that the bureau is "going to be doing fingerprint comparisons" with the jailed man, but dampened expectations for a link.

"However, at this point we do not believe it to be Mr. Gricar based solely on facial comparisons," he wrote.

His reservations were well-founded. The Associated Press reported this afternoon that authorities have determined the man is Phillip T. Beavers of New Mexico. Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller said in an email to the AP that the man was identified by his brother.

That could be him.

If that is Mr. Gricar, the timing is pretty bizarre.

EDIT:
OOPS!!! Never mind. I didn't see the latest, latest development.
