Casey urges troop withdrawal from Iraq
Pennsylvania's Sen. Bob Casey today said the Bush administration is only considering a token withdrawal of U.S. soldiers from Iraq to placate critics of the war, in advance of next week's official report on the progress of the troop "surge."

He based his assessment on news reports that Gen. David Petraeus, the top commander of U.S. forces, has suggested pulling about 4,000 troops at the beginning of next year.

The Iraqis need a "very clear and unambiguous" statement that we're going to withdraw, Mr. Casey, a Democrat, said at the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank based in Washington, DC.

"We're out of patience. Look at what we've already contributed to this war," he said. "You've got to get moving."

2. Okay, Senator Casey. Put your money where your mouth is and take the lead in Congress,
along with Murtha, to get us out of Iraq.

Your constituents elected you in the hopes that you would do so. SO DO IT!

4. The moveon ad was phenomenally stupid
and it's no wonder our people had to distance themselves from it. I don't mind critisizing the man's testimony but that was a big hand out for the repubs.

5. No more stupid than the ads
that were put out by republicons on democrats. Why do we have to distance ourselves when it comes to this stuff and the republicons don't?

6. Good moveon.org ad against Norm Coleman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ge14Zvew7bo

The same ad could probably be modified to fit just about all pro-Bush and pro-war congressmen.
