Anyone up for a little protestation?
Some details on the visit here...
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. - President Bush will speak at one of the Jay Group's facilities next week, the White House has announced, but many details of the invitation-only event are still being worked out.
Bush is expected to speak at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday to members of The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The Jay Group, a marketing and fulfillment company, has four facilities here, in Ronks, New Holland, Elizabethtown and Smoketown.
Alex Conant, White House spokesman, said today no announcement has been made about which facility will host the visit.
Sources have said the event will be attended by about 400 people, including local elected officials, Jay Group representatives and others.
The chamber will offer 100 tickets to its members, on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 10 a.m. Monday, chamber officials said today.
Bush will talk about the budget and spending during his visit, Conant said.
