1. Why bother to vote? Snark
Edited on Mon Mar-10-08 01:04 PM by JPZenger
I just read a post saying why is Obama bothering with Pennsylvania? After all, a couple polls say Clinton is ahead by slightly higher than the margin of error. Why bother to vote at all, its already been decided.

After all, isn't Pennsylvania just full of unemployed illiterate elderly racists who are just hopelessly waiting for that old rusty mill down main street to reopen? Those are all Hillary's core base. They are untouchable.

After, one of Hillary's top advisors, Carville, said most of Pennsylvania is just like Alabama.

Those old people won't listen to any attempt to persuade them. Only Hillary's people respect them.

Just move along, nothing to see, there's no votes for Obama here.

3. Let me clarify that for you, JPZ..
I believe Mr. Carville, a.k.a. "serphant head" who has an emotional IQ equivilant to his shoe size (how else to tolerate the other reptile to whom he's married) said...

"Pennsylvania has Philly at one end, Pittsburgh the other ... with Alabama inbetween".

Isn't that just like a LOT of other states? There's something to be said for primaries being closed, too. It allows the party to see if it's willing to bet behind a platform. Thus far, I haven't been able to truly see the reason WHY people are voting for either Clinton or Obama.

2. There was some useful information on there.
There is a link to a website to print out a voter registration form. I just had someone ask how to get one today, because he wants to vote for Obama in the primary...white, working-class dude, age 62.

Imagine that...
