coming to town for nceca
was supposed to have a drink with babydollhead tomorrow (tues.), but she is on her way to chicago. go figure.
so, if anyone has any interest in seeing some of the many clay shows that are up around town, give a shout. usually lots of good stuff happens around this conference.
also looking for recs on good brewpubs/food. i will be staying downtown, but usually someone figures out how to get around.

1. I had no idea we were hosting a ceramics convention
I'm sure you'll enjoy Pittsburgh very much. South Side is a short cab ride across the river and has an incredible number of drinking estabishments, a few good places to eat, and a bit of an artsy atmosphere.

I recommend the Piper's Pub. http://www.piperspub.com/

2. Read all about the conference in the Post-Gazette on Sunday..
if you are flying in, be prepared for an awesome sight when you come through the tunnels. Hope you love our city. If our kids weren't coming in this weekend, would love to meet you. Peace.

i feel right at home. i would definitely come back.

edited to add that this conference is something that the arts community has to work hard to get. so thank you local "clay person" the next time you see them for bringing this event to your city.
